Born in Toronto and raised in Montreal, Ashley Allwood is a recording artist, songwriter, producer, fashion designer, editor, art director and entrepreneur now based out of Toronto. She is vegan, pisces and an advocate for slow living, ethical fashion, animal rights as well as having a conscious and healthy lifestyle. Music and writing comes naturally for her from a very young age, she hears a melody in every beat and a poem for every verse and she creates no matter what she does in her multi-disciplinary career.

Her sound has been described as neo soul combined with electronic music and jazzy R&B – and add some hip hop and reggae on that too. Ashley has a power and clarity of voice that leaves the listener taken over by her musical presence, her heart pounding beats and her conscious lyrics.

Delivering she is, Ashley will be releasing her first Mixtape of two – entitled Air Love Music Vol. 1, comprised of 13 tracks and her new music video / short film for DREAM is out now.
